Main Bead Embroidery Kit Orchids – 2

“Orchids – 2” is a narrow vertical panel with a branch of phalaenopsis orchid on a deep blue ground. The blooms are large and creamy peach, set diagonally from top to bottom, while a vertical strip of dark foliate ornament runs down the left side.

What the picture shows

Five large flowers are open along the stem, with several tight buds at the top that are still taking on colour. The petals move from pale peach to warm beige, and the throats are yellowish with fine speckling. The background is a saturated, almost cobalt blue and is beaded as well, so the flowers do not merely lie on the canvas but glow against a dense blue surface. Along the left runs a narrow dark band patterned like printed fabric: it balances the composition and keeps the flowering branch from drifting to one side. The kit uses only six bead colours, so the image is built not on variety but on soft transitions within two ranges — blue and peach.
