Main Bead Embroidery Kit Pansies

“Pansies” shows three bright pansy blooms on a pale green ground: one large flower fully open in front and two smaller ones beside it. The petals are blue with a yellow-orange centre and dark velvet blotches — the familiar marking that makes this flower so recognisable.

What the picture shows

The largest bloom moves from deep blue at the petal edges to a lighter sky blue near the centre, while the lower petal is warm and creamy yellow with a white highlight. The black velvet blotches and the thin green tendrils of the stems are stitched bead by bead, so the small details are not lost. The lower flowers are smaller and turned to the side, and one of them is only half open. The background is a calm, even lettuce green, which makes the blue read deeper still. The wide border is built from rows of red, blue, yellow, green and orange beads packed tightly around the perimeter. Beads cover nearly the whole canvas, and the finished piece is noticeably raised to the touch.
