Main Bead Embroidery Kit An Ordinary Miracle
Description
“An Ordinary Miracle” shows a girl-angel in profile holding out her hand as a butterfly lands on her palm. The whole scene rests on the soft green light of a summer garden.
What the picture shows
The girl wears a white dress with wide sleeves, a large soft wing behind her shoulder and long fair hair falling down her back. On her head is a wreath of lilac blossom and dark red flowers, and a row of pearl beads runs along her cuff. The butterfly is blue and orange, the single bright spot against the green. Branches of lilac bloom hang on both sides. Beads make up the wreath, the edge of the wing, the sleeve trim, the butterfly and the blossoms, along with a few green accents in the foliage. The face, the hands and the blurred background stay as print, so the stitching highlights exactly what the scene is built on. The colour scheme rests on the contrast between the warm golden hair and the cool green garden.
